Refund policy

At MUUMPY, each piece is handmade in small batches using natural freshwater pearls. Because pearls are organic materials, slight variations in shape, size, color, luster, and surface texture are part of their natural beauty and are not considered defects.

Returns

We want you to love your piece. If you have any concerns with your order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Returns may be accepted for eligible items that are:

  • Unworn, unused, and in original condition
  • Returned with the original packaging
  • Shipped back within 14 days of delivery after return approval

To request a return, please contact us at shopmuumpy@gmail.com with your order number and a brief reason for the return. Returns must be approved before being shipped back.

Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Made-to-order pieces with selected length, hardware, or special adjustments
  • Earrings, for hygiene reasons
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Items that have been worn, damaged, altered, restrung, or used after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you if the refund is approved.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or there was an error with the order.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your item arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will review the issue and work with you on a solution.

Natural Pearl Variations

Freshwater pearls are naturally formed, so each pearl is unique. Small differences in shape, size, color, luster, growth marks, and surface texture are normal and are part of the character of genuine pearls. These natural variations are not considered defects.

Lost or Delayed Packages

Once a package has been accepted by the shipping carrier, delivery timing is outside of our control. If your package is delayed, we are happy to help you check the tracking status and assist with the next steps when possible.

For packages marked as delivered by the carrier, we recommend checking with your household, neighbors, local post office, or building mail area. MUUMPY is not responsible for stolen or missing packages after a confirmed delivery scan.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our mistake or the item arrived damaged. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
